About CareER Association
CareER was established in 2014 by a group of passionate individuals and a university graduate with disability. We are the first non-profit in Hong Kong to provide charitable job-matching services, peer support community and joint-university student/alumni union for tertiary-educated students and graduates with any type of disabilities and special educational needs (SEN). Through promoting disability-inclusive employment and encouraging diversity and inclusion at the workplace, CareER aims to maximise the capabilities of young talents with disabilities to become independent and contributing members of society. Hence, to change the society’s attitude towards people with disabilities and SEN.
Introduction
This year, we will hold our 9th annual fundraising event, “CareER RunnERthon Online Inclusive Carnival 2024” from 1st to 15th December 2024, with the theme of “Row, Roll, Run for equality, together we change” to raise funds for CareER’s daily operations, as well as hosting the kick-off ceremony and carnival on Sunday 1st December to celebrate the annual International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
Disability inclusion is not an easy feat without the support from employers, educational institutions, the public and our members. We hope to get people from various backgrounds together and encourage everyone to move one step closer towards disability inclusion. Website：www.career.org.hk
